Who we are
Plumbing Skills Academy (plumbingskillsacademy.com) is run by Arbnor. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us about your data at info@plumbingskillsacademy.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the information you choose to give us:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, if you provide one;
- your preferred contact method, the courses or topics you are interested in, and your preferred course format (weekday evenings or Saturdays);
- any questions or other information you include in your message;
- whether you have agreed to receive updates by email.
To protect the form from spam and abuse, your IP address is used temporarily to limit the number of submissions.
How we use it
We use your enquiry to respond to your questions about the academy and its courses, and to contact you about the course or programmes you have registered interest in. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us, and taking steps at your request before you book a course.
We will only send you general updates about new courses and training dates if you tick the separate, optional marketing box. Sending an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any update.
Who processes it
We use our website hosting provider and our email provider to run this website and handle enquiries. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a student, in which case we keep the records needed to run the course. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email info@plumbingskillsacademy.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.
